Wholeness Ministries

“I have come that they may have life, and have it abundantly!” – Jesus (see John 10:10)

We want all people to find purpose in Jesus, but we know that grief and stressors in life can keep us from experiencing the abundant life He freely offers us.  That’s why our GriefShare Support Group and Stephen Ministers are here for you.  We know that asking for help can be hard, but we encourage you to take that first step and reach out.

Stephen Ministry

Stephen Ministers are trained laypeople who offer high-quality, confidential, Christ-centered care to people who are hurting. A Stephen Minister usually provides care to one person at a time, meeting with that person once a week for about an hour. While they are not professional counselors, they offer a listening ear, a caring heart, and a prayerful spirit as they walk with you through life’s challenges. If you would like to be matched with a Stephen Minister or you would like to serve as a Stephen Minister, please contact our church office and ask to speak with our Pastor of Congregational Life, Lori Boehning.

GriefShare

GriefShare is a support group and safe place for those who have lost a loved one through death. Men and women alike have been blessed through the video-based curriculum, group discussions, and personal journeying in their own Lifebook. Although the curriculum is solidly biblically-based, people from all faith backgrounds are welcome.  We offer the 13-week session twice a year.  To learn if a GriefShare group is currently meeting, please contact the church office.  For more information, visit https://www.griefshare.org.
