Medford, Oregon

Wednesdays | Middle and High School Youth Group: 6:30-8:30 pm on Wednesdays in the Youth Center, affectionately called The Barn, which is near the playground at the south parking lot.

We have a community building hour for games and relationships.  Then we have a time of worship, discussion, and breakout groups.  Middle and High School are separate for most of the time, except worship.

We take the 4th week of the month off for families to have more time to disciple, allow time for creative discipleship, and allow our volunteer led team to tend to their own discipleship.  If there’s a 5th week of the month, we will meet.  All welcome!

Sundays | “Donuts and Drop-In”: Join us for our 10:45am Contemporary Worship Service, and then let’s unpack it over a box or two of donuts!

6th-12th Grade meets Sundays 12-1pm at the Youth Center to hang out, and build Christ-centered youth community (Acts 2:42-47).  Parents can connect with other youth parents for a Sunday afternoon coffee while their teens hang out.

Teaching Series : A Whole New World

Do you long for the world to be different?  Maybe that’s the online hate, or the in-person harassment.  Or anything else on the news.  Take your pick.  How do we change such a large, worldwide system?
In Jesus’ most famous teaching, he says this can happen only when our hearts are changed from inside-out.  As individuals and as a community.  And this would turn the world upside-down.  It would be a whole new world!  A world without contempt, manipulation, and harassment.
Jesus doesn’t just raise the ethical standard, and call us to simply try harder and do better.  Jesus actually brings heaven down to earth.  It is the touchdown of God into our world — to bring healing and to bring justice.  Jesus is proclaiming the inauguration of a whole new world.  It begins with his life, and in this very sermon heralding the new world beginning with him.  It’s the beginning of the end of injustice, and evil.  And the seedbed of goodness, justice, beauty, love, and truth.
It’s also a call for us to reach out our hand and join him.  Trust him.  And follow him.  In a relationship with Jesus each day, we step foot into a whole new world, where beauty, goodness, and love are a reality flowing intimately from God into us.  And to pay it forward to the person next us now.  That life be in Medford as it is in heaven.  Come and see for yourself, how Jesus’ teachings can bring life change from the inside out, and turn the world upside down.
